From Nelson drive south (following any Motueka signs), go through Richmond and turn right onto the Coastal Highway (Highway 60).
Continue on Highway 60 (ignoring signs pointing to Upper Moutere) for 24 kms, passing Appleby, Mapua and Ruby Bay, entering Tasman Village. After 500 metres sight the end of the estuary, and Dicker Road street sign. Turn sharp left and Larchwood House is immediately on the right. Park in the sealed parking area.
From the Lewis Pass go through Murchison on State Highway 6 towards Nelson. After 100 km pass through Wakefield village, Brightwater and Hope, to a roundabout on the edge of Richmond. Turn left onto the Coastal Highway (Highway 60).

From Motueka drive south along the Coastal Highway (Highway 60) for 9 kms. At the end of the estuary look for the 70 km speed limit sign and turn right into Dicker Road. Larchwood House is immediately on the right. Park in the sealed parking area.
